CALLING YOUR DOG BACK
All dogs like to be allowed off the lead to run around and play. It is important that your dog mixes with other dogs regularly and is free to meet and interact with other dogs. This time is also vital for your dog’s health as it will keep him fit and well exercised. However, it is important that when you call your dog that he/she comes back to you. This will prevent accidents and other problems arising.
Play time! If your dog likes to play with a ball or toy, keep one for only using on a walk. Do not allow your dog to play with this at any other time to keep it special. If it is possible, take two balls with you so that you can always tempt you dog back, even if he is playing with one toy at the other end of the park.
